How to clean blood out of a carpet

Written by on 10 Jul 2011

We all hate the sight of blood ( especially if its  our own!)

Tips on Removing Blood Stains

  1. Rinse the affected area with a mild detergent solution (mixed with cold water).
  2. Further rinse with cloudy ammonia solution 3%.
  3. Allow the area to dry naturally.
  4. May have to repeat procedure as blood has a tendency to wicker back up.

The carpet Boss have special extraction systems and solutions to deal with this.

Blood pathogens can be airborne so we recommend gloves and mask are worn.
